Xisumavoid's Mega Brewery is a brewery made by Xisumavoid. The brewery automatically brew potions for other Hermits, they can take any potions as they want for free at the first floor and can modify the potions on the second floor.
On October 30, 2020, Xisumavoid started the project, Xisumavoid started the project in his episode 79 and finished in his episode 104. The location is the desert between MumboJumbo's Base, Keralis' Base, and his own base. Most of the materials that were needed to make potions were not available at a large supply, so he decided to make his own farms.
Xisumavoid started off the Mega Brewery project by flattening out the land it was going to be on. He marked the area with stone pillars so he knows where it is. Then he made up a simple automatic design in a creative world.
The Build[]
Potion Sorting[]
Xisumavoid decided to put the potions in Shulker boxes, not just in a double chest. He then noticed, that if you put a shulker box of water bottles next to nine brewing stands, he could make 27 potions easily that could go into another shulker box. (3 slots for 9 brewing stands) He also made it so some potions are splash and some are lingering. With that, Xisumavoid started the basic redstone of the Mega Brewery, which he will later on decorate and add storage to. He needed more materials, however there were none available.
Second Layer[]
Xisumavoid mines out a second layer below the Brewery to put in materials and puts in a new design of potion sorting so things run smoothly. This is also the first time he tests the brewery to make sure it works properly.
Exterior[]
Xisumavoid has started work on decorating the brewery by placing walls and eventually pillars and a roof. The pilllars are made of dried kelp blocks and the walls and roof is made of concrete and prismarine, similar to Grian's Mansion.
Farms[]
Mushroom Farm[]
The mushroom farm was built before Xisumavoid announced the project, and it was a hint for it. The farm was built on a forest biome where mushrooms naturally grow, and when a mushroom does grow, it spreads to other blocks where an observer can see if a mushroom has grown to send water to put the mushrooms in hoppers. Xisumavoid realized that you must be close to the mushroom farm for it to produce mushrooms, however it does not produce that well. Mushrooms are used for fermented spider eyes which make potions of weakness, harming, slowness, or invisibility. Xisumavoid has used splash potions of harming for his Dodgeball minigame in the Turf War Minigames
Nether Wart Farm[]
Xisumavoid made a new Nether wart AFK farm where he is on a Minecart and he can have an auto clicker to click the tops of the grown Nether wart so he would not destroy the growing nether warts. When in the Nether wart farm, Xisumavoid unfortunately died to a slime because it was a slime chunk. This made him add spawn-proofing in every block of the room. One viewer suggested to add cakes in case if he gets hungry, and place it high up so it will match with the grown nether warts. Nether warts are used to make awkward potions.
Blaze Farm[]
Xisumavoid decided to ask ImpulseSV if he could use his Blaze farm. The Blaze farm works by having two Blaze spawners that are incased in glass and are next to each other, and when someone is near the Blaze spawner, the Blazer will spawn and drop down onto the lava, where the player can AFK kill them for blaze rods. The drops will go into hoppers which are connected to a double chest. Xisumavoid gathered a ton of blaze rods, and while there decided to give the Blaze farm decorations and added more storage. He then improves on his redstone to make sure everything is sorted to the correct brewing stand. Blaze rods are used to power up brewing stands.
Phantom Farm[]
Xisumavoid made a new Phantom farm, where Phantoms are not able to attack the player but the player can attack the Phantoms. There was a flaw in it however, but an easy solution was to place an iron trapdoor instead of an iron bar with a glass block on top of it. That way, the Phantom membranes can get delivered the player immediately and if the Phantoms are killed when flying away, the membranes will drop onto the water and will be grabbed by the player. It was possible to get hit by the Phantoms, but only on rare occasions. The phantom farm was built on top of the mushroom farm. Phantom membranes are used for slow-falling potions.
Melon, Carrot, and Gold Farm[]
Xisumavoid has met up with Keralis to use his melon and carrot farm. Keralis insisted, and that there are a lot of carrots in his storage. Using his own gold farm, he crafted glistening melon slices and golden carrots. Glistening melon slices are used for potions of healing and golden carrots are used for potions of night vision. He also fixed up the farm because of a malfunction.
Ghast Farm[]
Xisumavoid built an obsidian tower that has nether portals in it, and he will AFK in a safe spot nearby. When a Ghast spawn, it will automatically teleport to the overworld where there are wither roses to kill it and hoppers to collect its ghast tears. Ghast tears are used for regeneration potions. Xisumavoid had to kill striders to improve the chances of ghast spawning.
Pufferfish Farm[]
Xisumavoid makes a pufferfish farm, and it works by fish spawning and flowing down a waterfall where there are magma blocks that suck them down to their death. Pufferfish are used for water breathing potions.
Rabbit Breeding Area[]
Xisumavoid has made a rabbit farm, which is located in the desert next to the mega brewery. It is fairly small, but what Xisumavoid does is breed rabbits with carrots then when there are enough, kills them to hopefully get rabbit's feet. Rabbit's foot are used for potion of leaping.
Seagrass Farm[]
Xisumavoid makes a seagrass farm in his base so he can breed turtles. It works by having a player auto-click in an AFK session with shears which breaks seagrass and it goes to hoppers. The hoppers lead to a double chest where the player can take as many seagrass they need. A dispenser gives out bonemeal so infinite seagrass can be grown. If the player's shears break, there will be a dispenser that gives shears periodically. Seagrass is used for breeding turtles, which makes baby turtles, and when the baby turtles are grown, they drop scutes which can be crafted to turtle shells. Turtle shells are used for Potions of Turtle Master.
Scute Farm[]
Xisumavoid makes the scute farm, which works by having turtles be bred while an AFK player will breed them using seagrass. When they lay their eggs, they will stay near it. Then when the eggs hatch, the adult turtles will create a barrier for the baby turtles so they will enter through a small gap to a hole. When the baby turtles grow into adults, they drop scutes, and die from suffocation due to the hole being 1 block tall. There will be hopper minecarts that are underneath the baby turtle hole which will collect any scutes. This will lead to a storage area where a player can access scutes. If the player runs out of sea grass, the minecart that the player is in while being AFK will travel to a tripwire hook dispenser that will give them sea grass. Turtles can also drop seagrass on death, so this farm also acts as an inefficient seagrass farm. Scutes are used to craft turtle shells, which are used for Potions of Turtle Master.
Potions Taken by Other Hermits[]
- Rendog made a request for potions of leaping for his minigame in the Turf War Minigames, Xisumavoid also introduced him to the Mega Brewery.
- Cubfan135 took a shulker of lingering harming potion for his trap at his bass.
- BdoubleO100 took a shulker of splash weakness potion to cure the villagers on his base.
- TangoTek took 4 shulkers of invisibility potion to make invisibility arrows for his Among Us minigame.
