'''Vanilla Seasons''', as the name implies, are the seasons of [[Hermitcraft]] that use a vanilla/semi-vanilla version of Minecraft.

== About ==

These seasons usually use mostly unmodified Minecraft. They might also use different clients but the gameplay is largely unchanged. Some modifications are mostly tweaks and optimizations, with little to no game changing features.

As of July 2022, there have been a total of 9 vanilla seasons of Hermitcraft.

These are the older seasons of Hermitcraft, in which map downloads are available. They are also using an older version of Minecraft.

This is the only season to have 2 worlds. This is due to the first world being corrupted after Generikb was switching the server beween the Vanilla and Craftbucket jar. files so the server had to be reset. At the end of Season 1, the founder of Hermitcraft [[Generikb]] left the server. This left Hermitcraft without a leader, so [[Xisumavoid]] decided to step up as leader in the middle of Season 2 and invited more people. He moved all operations to a new village away from the main area.

Season 8 was the shortest season, and the only season to end less than a year after it was started.
