Tunnel Rats is a Bed Wars style of minigame, created by Xisumavoid in Season 9. It is located in a large obsidian tunnel that is symmetrically filled with layers of various resources. The game is designed for two teams that, starting from opposite ends of the tunnel, have to dig through these layers to gather resources, craft tools and weapons to prepare for fight. The goal is to kill everyone from the opposing team while they cannot respawn in the tunnel, which requires finding and destroying their bed while protecting their own team's bed.

Steaks
An empty, small space where players go after entering the game, with no way out. Both teams have their own room at opposite ends of the tunnel. Inside, there is only a bed for players to set their respawn point and chest with steaks. This is the waiting area for the game to start, but after that it is still accessible like the rest of the tunnel, excluding the use of the entrance door.

Outside Hermitcraft[]
Xisumavoid created the game Tunnel Rats, available on Minecraft Marketplace. It included 13 ready maps to play, one of them named Hermitcraft S9, that included a copy of the arena from Season 9.[1]
