The Perimeter is Docm77's mega-project in Season 9, which includes his main base and industrial district. It is a large square hole that was dug using a carpet bomber flying machine. The Perimeter is built to have the best spawn conditions for mob farms. On the edge of the hole is the Hall of Goat, Docm77’s headquarters. The Perimeter is also armed with defensive and offensive contraptions such as a charged creeper cannon, anvil cannon, arrow cannon, and the Goat Walker. During King RenTheKing's Reign, Docm77 declared his base independent as the United Perimeter Empire, so he built a large flagpole over which the Ender Dragon flew.
Many events also took place at the Perimeter, such as an archery duel with GoodTimesWithScar (as HotGuy) and Hermitcraft Trading Card Game matches in Docm77's own TCG Arena. It was also one of the main locations of the Season 9 prank war between the Buttercups and Docm77. As a result, the Perimeter became the target of several pranks, and in their last strike, the Buttercups, with the help of other Hermits, covered the entire Perimeter after which the conflict ended. Afterward, Docm77 gradually covered it with ornaments and pixel art created by his fans. He managed to decorate most of the Perimeter this way, although it remained unfinished at the end of Season 9.
Appearance[]
The Perimeter is a massive hole (33 chunks by 33 chunks) in the ground leading to bedrock with water in the center. Some of the features of the Perimeter are results of the Season 9 Prank War; these include a “No Entry” sign in front of the Tunnel Borer, the remnants of Bottercup and the Goat Walker, and Butterbot and Mothra. There is a large flag at one of the Perimeter’s corners with a goat’s head on it; Docm77 also brought the Ender Dragon to the Overworld to fly over the flag. Inside the Perimeter, he constructed creeper, spider, drowned, and raid farms. The Hall of Goat, Docm77’s main base, is next to the Perimeter.
Season 9 Prank War[]
The Buttercups, together with many other hermits, covered the entire Perimeter in the final prank.
Docm77’s perimeter was one of the main sites of the prank war between Docm77, Grian, MumboJumbo, and GoodTimesWithScar. The war began when the Tunnel Bore was accidentally blown up by Grian and GoodTimesWithScar, who went in hopes of getting free diamonds. Because of this, a sign was constructed in front of the Tunnel Bore area with Grian’s, MumboJumbo’s, and GoodTimesWithScar’s faces on it. Another contraption built during the war was a chicken egg launcher constructed by Poultry Man and HotGuy, which temporarily filled the Perimeter with thousands of chickens. Buttercamp and the With Love Cookie Shop are at the top edge of the Perimeter, together with a large pot and a barn that held the Bottercup and Goat Walker, respectively. Butterbot and Mothra were two butterfly bots built by Docm77 above the Perimeter with the intent of blowing up Grian’s, MumboJumbo’s, and GoodTimesWithScar’s bases; however, they were stopped by the three hermits. In the final prank of the war, the entire Perimeter was covered up.
