The Entity is Grian's first build and shop in Season 9. It was originally built in Hermit Town but was later moved to the shopping district. The Entity is a large boulder with legs, and also has a tree and a broken copper wheel on top of it. It is powered by a conduit heart at its core, and is meant to be like a living creature. Grian stated that the shop will have added sections to the boulder corresponding to more items being sold.

About[]

The Entity is a giant mossy boulder with the tree on the side of it, long legs, and a red interior. It also has a "broken copper wheel", which was taken from Grian's Witch Hut. The Entity sells many items, and has a small section added to the outside based on each item being added to the shop. Grian stated that the rock will be covered in all sorts of styles and builds over the course of the season, and said that the Entity is supposed to be like a living, breathing being.
When Grian decided to move the Entity from Hermit Town to the shopping district, a few features of the shop were changed. In the inside, there were the shop resources inside it but those were removed when it was moved. Red substances were added to the inside during its reconstruction to represent that the rock is a living being. Long, spindly legs were also added to the outside, similar to those of the Octagon from Season 8, but in a different shape. Later, when Grian created the storage crater for his base, he took concrete powder, glazed terracotta, stained glass, and dye to the Entity and set up a canopy of cyan wool below the shop to sell them.

History[]

King's Claim[]

Shulker Incident[]

Grian wanted a unique way of entering the store so he planned to use shulkers to levitate, but the effect didn't last long enough and the idea was scrapped. Many episodes later, Zedaph was giving advancements to an AFK TangoTek, and Zedaph asked if Grian still had the shulker. He and Grian attempted to get TangoTek fifty blocks in the air with the levitation effect. This led to the shulkers duplicating under the platform the Entity was on, making shopping difficult.
