The Bigger Vault is MumboJumbo's mega base in Season 9. It was made to be a replacement for the old vault, since it was "overflowing with diamonds". It is directly in front of Dwayne. It contains a bamboo farm, but the vault was almost completely blown up and destroyed by him and GoodTimesWithScar after MumboJumbo decided that he wanted to rebuild it.

Appearance[]

Currently, MumboJumbo has begun building the vault, and started making the wall around it.

Areas[]

Outer wall[]

There is an outer wall covering the vault below it. It was made in his episode 5.

Vault[]

The Bigger Vault (vault door)

Near Grian's base, there is a plan labeled "vault". The vault is sized as 50x50 blocks, and MumboJumbo stated that it has two areas:

  • The bottom area contains MumboJumbo's resources, which no one can see.
  • The top area contains the villager trading hall, since Villagers are valuable, as said by MumboJumbo.

The bottom area is currently under construction, with the outer "vault" door done in his episode 6.

Industrial District[]

The industrial district will be a large 65 x 65 square. MumboJumbo stated that it will have moving parts, and it will be a "living base", instead of a dead static one. He also stated that it will be made of deepslate.

Storage Satellites[]

On the 3 edges of the district, there will be 3 floating satellites, which are planned to be his storage system. The satellite system is 21 x 21 in size, and is connected by small bridges (which are 9 blocks wide and 10-15 blocks long).

Grian's vault breaking[]

Near the end of his fourth episode, Grian and MumboJumbo decided that every two weeks, Grian gets a chance to break into the vault. If he breaks in, he gets to take the 'goodies'. However, if he fails or dies in the attempt, he must pay MumboJumbo an accumulating amount of diamond blocks, starting at 5 blocks, and doubling every time.

Attempt 1[]

For Grian's first attempt, MumboJumbo built a decoy vault for Grian, which contained a sand-and-lava trap. Grian initially tried breaking in via ender-pearl glitch, but then realized he could use chorus fruit. He bought the 'Elven Kiss' cookies from GoodTimesWithScar's Cookie Empire and used them to teleport into the decoy vault as MumboJumbo had planned. He then died and lost all his things, forgetting his own rule to not wear gear. He paid MumboJumbo the 5 diamond blocks. The score was 1–0 to the vault.

Trivia[]

  • The vault was moved 5-10 blocks to the right due to Grian stating that his base should be centered to the bridge.
  • The industrial district will be next to the base itself, unlike the previous seasons (Season 6–8).
  • The district was originally built 1 block too far to the left, until MumboJumbo realized it and had to rebuild the edges.
