ThePixelNerds' Floating Islands are ThePixelNerds' (Alex2295, Joshuaaap, and Joenagee) main bases for Season 1. Located next to Topmass' Village, it is composed of three separate bases: Alex2295's Floating Castle, Joenagee's Floating Wizard Tower, and Joshuaaap's Floating House. To the north is IAmSp00n's Utensil City and Jessassin's Underwater Base; to the northeast is DMac's Desert; to the distant east is Pungence's Assyrian Palace, Skyzm's Ice Incorporation, and Juicetra's Jungle Village; to the distant southeast is Red3yz' Jungle; to the northwest is Biffa's Bowl.

A castle built by Alex2295 on a floating island. The castle's interior has spruce floors, and the walls have a walkway that connects the five guard towers. The main tower has four floors. Inside the floating island is an obsidian and glowstone core, and a large crater is located below the island.

Communal Living[]
In Season 1: Episode 1, ThePixelNerds moved out from the Spawn Village and into the eastern mountains beyond Topmass' Village. In Season 1: Episode 2, Alex2295 dug the sewer from Topmass' Village towards their new area. Alex2295 and Joshuaaap trapped Joenagee in a box. They built a big birch house next to the river. In Season 1: Episode 3, they decorated the interior of the birch house. They worked on a wheat farm built behind the birch house. In Season 1: Episode 5, they dug out the mountain behind the wheat farm.
Personal Homes[]
In Episode 5, ThePixelNerds showed that, between episodes, Alex2295 had built the flat circular area where the Floating Castle would go, marking the bottom of the future island with a floating crisscross; he also dug the area below the floating island down into a crater. They also showed Joshuaaap's harbor house, built on the coast towards the south, and Joenagee's house built into the side of the eastern mountain with a diagonal window overlooking the base area with a large tower built above it. They then built a large floating wheat farm in the sky between the big birch house and the harbor house. In Season: Episode 6, they continued working on the floating wheat farm. In Season 1: Episode 7, they showed the second eastern tower built above Joenagee's House, and Alex2295 had constructed the Floating Castle. They also built a stairway to heaven on the cliff above the big birch house, and added their donor names. Joushuaaap also replaced the wheat farm near the big birch house with his Animal Sanctuary. In Season 1: Episode 8, they built a floating animal pen above Joshuaaap's animal sanctuary, and funneled animals from Topmass' farms to it. Alex2295 also fully built the floating island for the Floating Castle.
Hermoine, Winifred and Barbara Winson[]
In Season 1: Episode 9, ThePixelNerds tell the Epic Story of Hermoine, Winifred and Barbara Winson.
In Scene 1, Barbara Winson (Joshuaaap) was duplicating sand in a desert when the lag demon went SHABLAM! and her Minecraft crashed, and when she relogged, she tried to escape the lag but she drowned on her sailing trip home. Barbara Winson called for help from Winifred (Alex2295) and Hermoine (Joenagee), who began an epic sailing adventure to save Barbara Winson. Unfortunately, Hermoine also drowned and both her and Barbara Winson lost a full set of diamond armor, while Winifred disabled the machine. Generikb ultimately reset the server and saved the day.
In Scene 2, upon the trio returning home, Hermoine began looking through Joshuaaap's Animal Sanctuary chests, which Barbara Winson, who is very protective of Joshuaaap, began punching Hermoine. Hermoine then began picking away at Barbara Winson with a diamond pickaxe, and then Winifred murdered Hermoine. Barbara Winson stole Hermoine's stuff, and ran away. Hermoine then stole Joshuaaap's diamonds and sprinted to Topmass' Village. Winifred chased Hermoine and killed her again. Hermoine then got revenge on Barbara Winson and killed her with lava, destroying her diamond helmet.
In Scene 3, Barbara Winson flooded Joenagee's house (where Hermoine coincidentally lives) with lava. Eventually, Winifred realized that Joenagee's house was on fire, and went to put it out. Not much of the house was burned, until Winifred saw that the first-built tower had burned down completely, with scattered birch blocks outlining what once was a magnificent tower. Barbara Winson laughs uproariously at the burnt tower, but Hermoine makes her remember her firefighter past and put out much of the fire.
In Scene 4, Hermoine, getting revenge on behalf of Joenagee, flooded Joshuaaap's Animal Sanctuary with lava, which Barbara Winson then put out (but not before the fire burned down the walls of the house). Alex2295, Joenagee, and Joshuaaap returned to the server and found that two of their bases had been lit on fire.
Visitors[]
In Season 1: Episode 10, Joenagee built a Floating Wizard's Tower above his house. In Season 1: Episode 11, they turned Joshuaaap's old Animal Sanctuary into the Pixel Nether Hub. An invisible Topmass came and attacked them while they built, and added an ender chest to the big birch house. They then all chased each other while invisible. In Season 1: Episode 12, Generikb visited the base, and added the Window of Serenity to the big birch house. They showed him the core inside Alex2295's floating island, and the modern house facade built on a floating island next to the floating wheat farm. They also showed the inside of Joenagee's remodeled house with his storage room and his garden area. Joshuaaap dropped an anvil on Joenagee's head at the base of the burnt tower. In Season 1: Episode 13, Alex2295 knocked Joshuaaap off the stairway to heaven, and they built the Pixel Hub. In Season 1: Episode 14, the three of them built an underground base in the snowy woods to the east of their base area, in search of the Heart of the Mountain; Santa Genny gave them a piece of coal for Christmas, and Jessassin delivered Feather Falling books to the big birch house. At some point after Episode 14, Joenagee built cobblestone castle walls behind his house.
The base was last seen as Alex2295, Joenagee and Joshuaaap climbed the Stairway to Heaven.
