During the Empires SMP crossover, the Empires people decided to build a Christmas village inside the donut.

The Secret Santa[]
Grian built a sleigh with the help of PearlescentMoon to house the Secret Santa event of this season, also known as "Prank or Present", where the Hermit (or Empires member) could choose to gift either a prank or a present to their randomly drawn name.

- Before the Empires SMP crossover, the donut was considered for the Shopping District
- JoeHills built his Axolotl shop there before the shopping district was moved. He later moved it to the current Shopping District.
- TangoTek also moved FalseSymmetry's False Beans there, but she later moved it to the current district.
- The Donut is also the location of the now-closed "Guppy Geyser"
