Season 8 Spawn Egg

The Season 8 Spawn Egg, also referred to as the Hermit Spawn Egg, is a building at the Season 8 spawn point, built by PearlescentMoon and JoeHills which protects Hermits who die. It is built over the hole in the ground where all the hermits spawned at the beginning of the season.

Appearance[]

The interior consists of a 3x3 nether portal and a yellow bed. The walls are mostly made out of birch planks with glass windows and torches for light. The floor is made of spruce planks and redstone lamps for light. In the center there are two trapdoors which lead to a cave. On the side opposite the bed there are barrels consisting of early-game food, tools, and crafting tables. There is some decoration too. At the entrance, there are two flowerpots with orange tulips. Two blocks away from the bed on either side, there are composters with two oak leaves on top of them.

History[]

Hermit JoeHills actually died three times in the process of building the spawn egg and re-spawned there. Twice from burning and once from drowning.

In TangoTek's Season 8: Episode 2 he found a mysterious lectern with a book on it. He was given a task to trick BdoubleO100 into dying by the anonymous Taskmaster. As TangoTek was successful, he placed a sea pickle on top of the Spawn Egg as instructed by the book.
