Bases[]
Hermit | Image | Description | Other Details |
---|---|---|---|
Aureylian | Aureylian built a large tower dedicated to the memory of Generikb on Hermitcraft. | The tower was known as the "Hermit's Angels" by Aureylian. | |
Biffa2001 | Biffa2001 built a skyblock inspired base consisting of two stars floating above a swamp, with multiple farms. | The central feature of the Sky Base was a witch farm, with an item sorter built by MumboJumbo. | |
CilantroGamer | CilantroGamer settled in a desert where he built a couple machines and a weirdly shaped farm. Shortly before his departure from the server, he was pranked by Xisumavoid to have timed explosion noises come from a fake TNT block. | When exiting CilantroGamer's portal, one is greeted with a pile of melons left by IAmSp00n, from a prank that was never cleaned up. | |
Dewtroid | Dewtroid built an underground hub underneath a bridge in Old Hermiton, with the beginnings of a few tunnels. | Dewtroid planned to use an area under the bridge to tax all hermits who wished to cross. | |
Falsesymmetry | Falsesymmetry had a house in New Hermiton, which had a large secret laboratory underneath, and a medieval inspired village on the surface. | FalseSymmetry kept maps of all of the Hermits' bases at the time in a security room in her underground lab, making it seem as though an unseen government was watching them. | |
Hypnotizd | Hypnotizd built four towers surrounding a shallow pond above several subterranean levels. | Hypnotizd did not start work on his base until the server had updated to 1.7. | |
IAmSp00n | IAmSp00n had a base in a remote village, where he intended to build a hole down to bedrock, but the build was deleted when the server updated. His only remaining base is a giant diagonal chest in New Hermiton. | IAmSp00n had only shown his base twice on camera before the build was deleted, due to the fact that he mainly live-streamed. | |
iJevin | iJevin built a small farm complex (shown left) a short distance away from his original underground base which was located along the horse track. | Several chickens litter the surface of iJevin's base, the result of a prank by ZombieCleo that was never cleaned up. | |
Jessassin | Jessassin claimed a plot of land near VenomKisser, where he intended to build his base, but he never did anything with it. | Jessassin was the only Hermit at the time to never have posted videos of Season 2. | |
JoeHills | JoeHills, unlike many other Hermits, kept his base in Old Hermiton, building a number of odd builds including his museum of eyes and a rainbow wool farm. | JoeHills had a plan to build the seven wonders of the ancient world when the season started, and had successfully built the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and aided in building the Hanging Gardens of Babylon before giving up on the project. | |
Juicetra | Juicetra initially built a modern house in Old Hermiton, but the build was taken over by Pungence, his only remaining base is a small house in New Hermiton. | Similar to Jessassin, Juicetra didn't make videos on Season 2, but did have VOD's posted of him building his bases in Old and New Hermiton. | |
Keralis | Keralis built a ski resort town a short distance away from spawn which was known as Boobie Mountain. It was famously known as the spot of the original 'What Is Love' prank. | At one point in the season, Keralis almost burned the entire town to the ground, after realising that a wooden fireplace would not be functional. | |
Kiershar | Kiershar built a small stone fortress with a cow and crop farm, with a bunker underneath. | After a pig managed to find its way into the compound, Kiershar renamed it to Black Magic, and kept it as a pet. | |
KingDaddyDMAC | KingDaddyDMAC built an artificial island with numerous levels underneath it, similar to Hypnotizd. | KingDaddyDMAC intended to fill the interior of the base with various farms and builds, but this never happened. | |
King Happy | King_Happy built a witch farm in a swamp, where he built a mound of mycelium, with the beginnings of a giant tree, however he never finished this. | King_Happy never made an official way to the ground from his portal, which led the player to an ice bridge connecting to the top of his completed base. | |
Luclin | Luclin built a large cobblestone mansion with an underground portion that had his main utilities, which remained incomplete for the duration of the season. | Despite its size, the main structure of Luclin's mansion took only two episodes to build. | |
Marriland | Marriland began work on a village, but only created a house and a dining hall before becoming inactive. | The central window of Marriland's build was a glass rebuild of his face. | |
Monkeyfarm | Monkeyfarm created the iconic skull in Old Hermiton, which he used as his base for the duration of the season. | The headphones of the skull are actually aquariums, which Monkeyfarm filled with squid. | |
MumboJumbo | MumboJumbo settled in a jungle, where he created his underground base below a redstone lab and a mob grinder. A short distance away, he began work on a sea town which was connected to his base by a minecart rail. | One of the features of MumboJumbo's base was a display of simple redstone contraptions, which was being faced by a statue of himself. | |
Pungence | Pungence initially took over a house built by Juicetra, but never really did anything with it. Pictured is his New Hermiton residence, a modern house with a pool in the back. | Pungence hinted about building an underground portion to his house, but this never happened. He did, however, make several improvements to his house as the season went on. | |
Red3yz | Red3yz built a mansion in the side of a cliff, that went with the shape of the land, with a, couple farms surrounding. | Red3yz' base was built with numerous slightly odd features, most notably a set of red eyes that would move and blink at random. | |
Skyzm | Pungence and Skyzm started work on building a giant half-pipe (a skating ramp), however Pungence favoured working on his house and construction shop, leaving Skyzm with the project, which was never finished. | Both Skyzm and Pungence built small rooms on the half-pipe, which served as construction barracks, as well as a large box made entirely of crafting tables. | |
Sl1pg8r | Sl1pg8r built a giant spiral leading from bedrock all the way to built limit, known as the Ribbon, with several platforms on the inside. | Sl1pg8r added several stacks of spheres around his base, structures that he referred to as the "AmazeBalls." | |
Spumwack | Spumwack built a large collection of industrial farms for his corporation during Season 2, known as Muse Manufacturing (a division of SpumCo) | While Spumwack never made an actual structure for his nether tunnel made up for it, decorated with humorously named items in item frames at multiple spots. | |
TangoTek | TangoTek built a small bunker in the side of a hill in New Hermiton, which had a vanilla recreation of the better portals mod between a diagram of the overworked and an artificial nether. | TangoTek only had a few weeks to work on his base, as he was one of the last people to join; the only Hermit to join later than him in Season 2 was xBCrafted. | |
ThePixelNerds | Joenagee and Alex2295 of the Pixel Nerds returned to Hermitcraft to build a windmill which served as their base. | Despite only releasing one episode, Joenagee of ThePixelNerds was seen throughout the early parts of the season in Topmass' videos, helping out with his base. | |
TinFoilChef | TinFoilChef built a mansion that was made to look like a castle on a hill near Sl1pg8r's area. | Located next to TinFoilChef's castle was a small motel, called Motel 1.7, after the version of Minecraft they were playing, which was a part of the horse track. | |
Topmass | Topmass built a few above ground creations, including a suburban house and an apocalypse protection bunker below a campsite. Underneath this was a large gentleman's club and a storage room. | Small parts of Topmass' interior were built by Joenagee of ThePixelNerds. | |
Unhost | Unhost built a large house in Old Hermiton with several conceptual patterns inside, and a hill house in New Hermiton. | Unhost owned Hermitcraft's first AFK fish farm, which was located in the basement of his New Hermiton residence. | |
VenomKisser | VenomKisser built a large stairway up a mountain which she intended to turn into Mount Olympus, but never really finished this project. | Next to VenomKisser's area, IAmSp00n and Jessassin built a large Minecraft cake, as a prank. | |
xBCrafted | xBCrafted built a small modern house near New Hermiton in the last weeks of the season, with two floors and an underground storage area. | xBCrafted's storage area was accessed through a hidden doorway, and also contained a small crop farm. | |
Xisumavoid | Xisumavoid had an underground base that was below a desert biome devoid of all sand and sandstone, to create a unique biome known as the Wasteland. | Despite its significance to the season, Xisumavoid's wasteland wasn't the first; JoeHills had constructed a false wasteland a short ways outside of Old Hermiton, and an early wasteland project was started in Season 1. | |
ZombieCleo | ZombieCleo built a recreation of the Museum of Natural History in London. Below this base was a series of secret passageways that led to a monument to Cthulhu. | One of the most significant events of Season 2 was Xisumavoid's prank on ZombieCleo, where he flooded her base with fish. | |
Zueljin | Zueljin built a large suburban modern house at the edge of New Hermiton, with a pool and basement pub. | Inside of Zueljin's basement was a large underground nature scene, which served as little more than an intricate decoration. |
