PearlescentMoon, known as Pearl for short, is a YouTuber and a member of the Hermitcraft server. She has 761,000 subscribers[1] and has been a member since the beginning of Season 8. Her most viewed video is Minecraft DRAGON Timelapse! | Riders of Icarus Wyvern - Traes Organic.
Season 8[]
Start of the season[]
PearlescentMoon was added to Hermitcraft alongside GeminiTay at the start of Season 8. She helped create the Spawn Egg along with JoeHills to protect players that died without setting their spawn, and was a late addition to the Boatem Pole on her episode 1; she is also put in charge of the Boatem Pole, as she was the only Hermit to sit in each and every boat.
Shops[]
PearlescentMoon has few shops including Padllama Co. which has an offshoot of Llamada which sells the same products as Padllama Co. but brings the products near other hermits.
Base[]
Starter house[]
PearlescentMoon's Starter base
PearlescentMoon's starter house is a two-story build that is an upside-down boat. After building it, she then realized that her base was facing the wrong way, compared to the rest of Boatem. She and ImpulseSV deconstructed it, rotated it, and rebuilt it in her episode 2. The top-most floor has an aquarium and it holds a few axolotls.
The main floor has a furnace setup and a hidden bed on the left-side, and the right-side has an storage system that PearlescentMoon deemed too small and expanded it downwards.
During Tegg PearlescentMoon hid a secret entrance in the middle of the main floor. This entrance leads a path into a giant aquarium under her expanded storage system. From there with a correct opening of a trapdoor leads into a minecart that leads into the proper entrance of the TEGG-room with doors leading to the path towards the TEGG. In this room the player has a choice of either fire resistance potion or leather boots. Through the doors are chests to store your inventory, as there is a chance of death. After these chests you are greeted with a snow and lush cave, the intent is to find a lever that opens an iron door, which leads into a door maze referencing many Hermits having a struggle opening PearlescentMoon's house doors. The next challenge is a parkour course with lava. After completing the parkour the TEGG is claimable.
Main base[]

Currently PearlescentMoon's main base is a castle on a mountain near Grian's alley in Boatem Town, which is a part of the planned Boatem gigabase. Pearl started construction by building a huge mountain, which helped Grian with his tunnel for his train. The main blocks used in the mountain were moss, green terracotta, granite, and jungle planks. While building her mountain, she broke her streak of not using elytra as part of the No Wings Club, but did reach 100 days first meaning she will soon receive her Wood Wings award. Later, she revealed that she is building a lighthouse/upside down boat themed base and begun by building a few towers in plain stone. A few episodes later, she went back over the stone with details, but now she has deemed the original mountain too small and is planning to expand the peak as well as add more lighthouse towers.

Season 9[]
Shops[]
In Episode 5 she built Shearious Business, a shop for Enchanted Shears, which is located in her Starter Base.
In Episode 9 she built her shop Twinkly Trash which sells valuable, yet normally unwanted items (Tridents, Heart of The Sea, Nautilus Shells, Phantom Membrane). She expanded this shop vertically by two floors, in which she put two other shops/services she is offering. Located in the first floor, you can find a shop where she sells her services in organizing Shulker/Chest Monsters. On the second floor, you can find her newest shop, where you can hire her to tear something down.
Base[]
Starter Base[]
She built her starter base right next to Grian's, just across the river. The theme of her base goes in the direction Alien-Like, which is why she has a giant alien-like creature on her base.
Main Base[]
She started her main base right across from ImpulseSV's Dwarven Keep, which she connected to her base using a bridge across the river. From the story-side, her base represents a planet or an area of alien-like terrain that was found by humans which settled there. Her storage room is located in the basement of the big blue mushroom.
Interactions[]
If it comes to interactions, she regularly interacts with ImpulseSV and GeminiTay, which are her closest neighbours. Most of the time, the trio calls themselves the "Soup Group", which got its name from PearlescentMoon handing out mushroom stew to the others during their interactions.
April Fools[]
During the Secret Fools Day event initialized by Grian, she was drawn to prank iJevin, so she placed a big slimy green pig chef above his house. She got pranked herself with a pink UFO above her base, tractor-beaming the alien-like creature on top of her base.
Easter Egg Hunt[]
She participated in the Easter Egg Hunt and scored 4th place.
Diamond Tower Race[]
She also participated in the Diamond Tower Race, where she first started her pillar on the ground, but later moved her pillar to start at build height and go down from there.
Miscellaneous[]
She also built the nether tunnel which leads to her, GeminiTay and ImpulseSV's Nether Portals
She also took the Quest of building the Shopping District Nether Portal
She was hired by GoodTimesWithScar to organize his Shulker Monsters, which cost GoodTimesWithScar 200 Diamonds in total. They had originally agreed on 170, but he paid 200.

Season 10[]
Base[]
For Season 10, PearlescentMoon decided to go for a "solarpunk" theme for her base.
Starter Base[]
PearlescentMoon built a farmhouse using many different wood tones. It features large fields of crops out front, a horse stable, and custom trees. She has also kept her storage in a basement in her starter base.
Main Base[]
PearlescentMoon's main base also follows the solarpunk theme, and so far features a large greenhouse and chorus farm, all very green and brightly decorated.
Mail System[]
At the start of the season, PearlescentMoon teamed up with TangoTek and EthosLab to form the postal service. PearlescentMoon acts as a "postmaster", being the leader of the group. She is also the constructor of the Post Office, and inducts all new players into the system.
Shops[]
To capitalize on her Flower + Dye, Spore Blossom, Bones, and Purpur permits, PearlescentMoon constructed vehicles to sell items out of, the latter being a large "cat" bus on top of the Permit Dispenser, before it got taken down. Later, she moved her Flower + Dye and Spore Blossom permits to a larger flower shop. In this shop she also created a minigame of Dye-Duction for Hermits to play.
