The New Hermit Order (NHO) was a group formed in Season 5. They claimed that Hermits were playing Minecraft too fancily and they had to play it "the old-fashioned" way. After forming their group, they moved to a remote jungle biome thousands of blocks from spawn and colonized it. Soon after moving in, they realized that the jungle was right next to a mesa biome. It also happened to be the closest mesa to spawn. Seeing this, The NHO tried to enforce taxes on the terracotta mined from it. Some Hermits were not very happy about the NHO so they formed their own group, "La Revolution". Stressmonster101 also formed her own group "The Allium Alliance". This escalated to a turf war between the NHO and La Revolution for the mesa. In the end, the NHO won, but before the end of the season, they slowly disbanded.
