Welcome to Marriland's Minecraft Feed the Beast on the Hermitcraft server! In this episode, I go caving in order to find a whole bunch of new ores, which I explain as I find them.
Why are there no hostile mobs, d00d?! Well, I was talking with DMAC and we think it's just because of all of the loaded chunks on the server that have hostile mobs in them that aren't unspawning. There's a worldwide limit of hostile mobs that can spawn naturally. Made caving a little more boring, but ah well.
