MOREDOOR

The MOREDOOR was a prank-build MumboJumbo made on Grian's starter base in Season 7, as a respond for earlier Grian's prank on MumboJumbo's base. This structure consisted of many doors that constantly slammed, so it was quickly turned off and later removed.

History[]

Causes and creation[]

Grian's face on MumoJumbo's Hobbit hole

Grian's prank on MumboJumbo's base.

At the very beginning of the season, Grian and MumboJumbo unknowingly inhabited the same jungle and built their starter bases in the style of a Hobbit-holes. When Grian discovered this, he put his skin's face on MumboJumbo's house as a prank. He also left signs: "This jungle aint big enough for 2 Hobbit holes THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!".[1]

In response, MumboJumbo went to Grian's base and built a small, thin tower with the eye of Sauron on top, and 18 doors as wall, that were connected to redstone to slam and make a lot of annoying noise. He initially wanted the building to be very ugly, so he started with a very simple, flat structure made of jungle planks. However, he eventually changed his mind and diversified the tower using different blocks and a less simple design. At the end he put signs saying: "IF YOU'RE SUCH A HOBBIT, THEN YOU'LL LOVE THIS MOREDOOR".[2]

Fate[]

The next day, Grian found the structure when he heard noise coming from it. He was amused by this prank but quickly turned it off because the sound of the door slamming was too annoying. He soon removed the tower because it stood in the way of expanding his base.[3]

I got doors lol

Grian sends the door back to MumboJumbo.

Grian kept 18 doors from MOREDOOR. He later sent them all back to MumboJumbo via their communications tunnel, along with the message "I got doors lol". It was a reply to a message from MumboJumbo containing one diamond named "I got good lol".[4] MumboJumbo upon receiving this delivery, misunderstood it as Grian completing his Hermit Challenge about stealing doors.[5]
