Case Proceedings[]
After the judge had introduced the case and charges against the accused, he allowed Welsknight to call his first witness to the stand: Iskall85. After some debate about the pronunciation of his name, Iskall85 took the stand and, after swearing on the Book of Hermit, Welsknight began examination in chief and asked Iskall85 if he remembered any deforestation on the server. However, due to the fact that Iskall85 had drunk too much, he said he did not. Xisumavoid then asked him what he thought of the Logfellas, and Iskall85 said he thought most highly of them.
After going into recess, the court moved onto charge two and Welsknight called PythonGB to the stand, but yet again, PythonGB had also been given too much fruit juice and fine wine by the Logfellas and thus was unable to answer Welsknight's questions. The defense again asked the witness what he thought of the Logfellas and again the witness stated they were a valuable service to the community. PythonGB than drank an invisibility potion and escaped. The court then again went into recess.
When it returned, the court addressed the third charge and Welsknight produced a diamond which he said was a bribe to Sheriff FalseSymmetry from the Logfellas, but Xisumavoid said it was a tip. FalseSymmetry was called to the stand as a witness and said she had investigated for the Logfellas but not against it. Rendog then tried to bribe her once again, saying they had bought her earrings earlier. GoodTimesWithScar then ordered another recess due to the bribery and drinking in court.
The bailiff brought evidence of bribery and drinking to the judge, who reprimanded the Logfellas before moving to the fourth charge. Welsknight again called Iskall85 to the stand, who after being bribed by the Birchfellas, suddenly turned on the Logfellas, saying he had been pressured to cook ham pies and charged high prices for his free shop. He also admitted that FalseSymmetry had threatened him as well after being bribed. Welsknight then called JoeHills to the stand as an expert witness on real estate (due to his long tenure on the sever). JoeHills said that the Logfellas had defied Hermitcraft protocol and that they had broken the trust and friendship of the server. After they revealed that they had been serving the Logfather the whole time, GoodTimesWithScar added him to the accused as well, stating that they would now travel to visit him.
The court resumed session on the Logfather's island and the Logfellas brought the rest of the Hermits to him. However, the Logfather turned out to be a rabbit, which confused many of the Hermits. Then, in the ensuing chaos, Iskall85 jumped into the Logfather's pit and killed him. Xisumavoid and Rendog rejoiced, saying they were now free from the torment of the Logfather. The judge then passed his verdict: guilty. The Logfellas were sentenced to one Minecraft update in prison, their shops were shut down and their assets were taken to the treasury. Finally, Sheriff FalseSymmetry was also sentenced to one Minecraft life-cycle in prison.
Consequences[]
After the death of the Logfather, the Logfellas believed that they were free from his corruption and that they could be normal Hermits again. In their next episodes, they were let out of prison by PythonGB. Sheriff FalseSymmetry also managed to escape.
The Logfellas gave their name to one of the special Hermitcraft achievements in Season 5 "A True Logfella" which one obtained by having 500 oak logs in one's inventory.
