Connecting to the Boatem GIGA Base! is ImpulseSV's twenty-ninth episode of Season 8. It was uploaded on November 11, 2021.
Plot[]
After the Lagem Pole incidents, ImpulseSV decides to do some community service to reduce lag in Boatem Town and clean up around the Boatem Hole. Then, since he missed out on the Moonkin scavenger hunt, he agrees to find 30 Moonkins, collecting them from their item frames, and returns them to PearlescentMoon in order to collect the redstone shulker she stole from him. She shows him that the redstone box was in his delivery truck outside iCandy, but as he opens it, he notices that it isn’t even his redstone box—just another shulker that happened to be red. He is still missing his hat, which she has taken from the box and runs off with but eventually returns it.
With his hat, he checks caves around Boatem with his camera account and uses the ‘Cave Cleaner’ command to clear out mobs that have picked up items and now don’t despawn. He also checks for uncovered hoppers, and puts Houdini the goat in a boat to reduce the lag. He finds a stack of drowned, killing them and finding some free glasses to wear.
TangoTek invites him into the Boatem Hole to show that it is possible to regenerate bedrock; however, he instead drops ImpulseSV into the void below, and ImpulseSV does the same to him. The bedrock is apparently faked using an item frame and a painted cover for the block, then breaking the original block and leaving a phantom block casing.
Grian decides to retaliate for this prank, summoning the Boatem members (sans GoodTimesWithScar) to build a giant boat above the Big-Eye Crew town; the boat casts a large shadow over the boat cascade leftover from the Lagem Pole 2.0, filling the boats with hostile mobs.
Regarding the gap between the factory and MumboJumbo’s megabase; he builds deepslate pipes emerging from the ground between the two, spewing red, yellow, and blue byproducts near the mountain in hopes that it will be purified by its proximity to “Peace, Love, and Plants.”
