IAmSp00n, also known as Sp00n, is a former Hermit with 46,300 subscribers[3] who joined the Hermitcraft server in Season 1 and also continued to play for Season 2 and Season 3. His most viewed video is Journey - Gameplay / Playthrough (No Commentary).
Season 1[]
IAmSp00n was invited around the same time as Jessassin. He built a sandstone house in the spawn town between JoeHills and Xisumavoid. He was noted in one of Cubehamster's videos as being "That random naked guy." Throughout the first season, IAmSp00n was known for filling other Hermits' bases with melons, an act which he dubbed "Sp00ning." His base was an amalgamation of builds in a slab of land behind Jessassin's underwater base. This included a humorous re-creation of the major biomes in Minecraft, an incomplete castle made entirely out of melon blocks and a stone brick and glass building which he dubbed "The Establishment of Sp00ntology."

Season 2[]
The beginning of Season 2 saw the return of IAmSp00n and several other Hermits. He initially settled with Jessassin in a small first-day base which surrounded a wheat farm. During this time, he found and tamed a horse called Patchy, which he locked in a hole because he didn't know how to ride it. After a while, IAmSp00n moved to Old Hermiton, where he created a second Establishment of Sp00ntology across the street from VenomKisser and Xisumavoid. He had shown in his videos that he claimed a base location, where he wanted to build a giant circular hole and get all of the Hermits involved in its excavation, but could only ever recruit VenomKisser. Shortly after releasing a video of him going caving, he became inactive. IAmSp00n returned after the Hermits moved to a new area. He built a large diagonal chest next to iJevin as his house, but never really put anything into it, as he once again became inactive after building it. He also helped defeat the Ender Dragon.

Season 3[]
IAmSp00n briefly returned for Season 3, releasing two videos detailing his journey from spawn to Hermit Hills. He claimed a mountain with a large overhang near Biffa2001. He wanted to put a large glass wall in front of it, which he later did on stream. He was taken off the whitelist at the same time as Red3yz and Juicetra, most likely for inactivity.

On February 22, 2019, IAmSp00n uploaded one final YouTube video, entitled "My Last YouTube Video" to his channel. It should be noted that IAmSp00n was removed from Twitch in June 2020 following allegations of sexual misconduct. IAmSp00n acknowledged his misconduct,[4] and tweeted one final time on June 21, 2020, apologizing for his behavior[5] before vanishing from social media.
