Hermitcraft TCG Contest[2] also known as Hermitcraft TCG Booster Box Giveaway[3] was a quiz for viewers hosted by VintageBeef in his first 20 episodes (excluding episode 5) of Season 10. For each episode he asked one question (19 questions in total) mostly related to VintageBeef: trivia from Hermitcraft, Mindcrack, Hermitcraft Trading Card Game and publicly revealed facts from his personal life. Viewers could participate by sending their answers to e-mail address: HermitcraftTCGcontest@outlook.com. The prize for the winner, for sending the correct answer, was one Booster Box of physical version of Hermitcraft TCG. Since the prize was physical and required shipping, the competition was open only to residents from Canada, United States[4] and (since Episode 3) United Kingdom.[5]
For each question VintageBeef created a video segment, which he recorded in locations from Season 9 world download. The locations were mostly related to TCG and several times they also were part of the question. In the segments VintageBeef revealed the answers to the previous questions and the winner (except episode 1 as there was no previous question) and a new question.
The competition ended without explanation after episode 20. It is not known whether it was closed or just temporarily suspended.
