Week 44 is Hermitcraft Recap's forty-fifth episode of Season 7. It was uploaded on January 3, 2021.

- The Mycelium Resistance dominates the tournaments in the Turf War Minigames with a score of 6–3. In the aftermath, the two sides made compromises. GoodTimesWithScar must help Grian finish the backside of his mansion, TangoTek must use explosive fireworks to navigate the skies, Cubfan135 must use chorus fruit as his primary food source, and BdoubleO100 must begin an internship at EthosLab's Shade-E-E's. However, due to a wager in a minigame, BdoubleO100 will also receive a month's worth of profits from Lamps Plus. The Hermitcraft Environmental Protection also get the job of beautifying the shopping district, by replacing the mycelium with grass. In the end, both sides decided grass looked better for the biome. In the midst of the arrangements, Xisumavoid was also named the state-appointed gardener.
- Xisumavoid also spent the week hiding his potion brewery inside a gloomy building.
- Mount Scarmore will be redone as Mount Hermit, with every Hermit's head on the rock.
- XBCrafted and Keralis take a spin on some of the recent minigames. XBCrafted then visits the Christmas District and tidies up his base.
- BdoubleO100 converts the half-mansion basement into a cyberpunk-theme.
- ImpulseSV spends his holidays working on the ceiling of his base. He also lost a bet to BdoubleO100 during the minigames, meaning that all profits of Lamps Plus will be diverted to BdoubleO100's account.
- It wouldn't be a JoeHills Christmas without a candy cane-themed Parthenon build, which is how he spends his holiday. He then celebrates New Year's with celebrations at landmarks across the Strait of Joebraltar.
- Iskall85 and MumboJumbo continue to work on the Pacific high-rise. Iskall85 builds a custom bubble elevator and an aquarium for the centerpiece of the build. MumboJumbo works on a redstone machine for the payment process. Then the pair relax in the pool deck on the roof of the building. He also hires a zombie to work in his villager trading hall.
- Hypnotizd also modifies his trading hall. He builds a hoglin farm on the nether roof for a constant supply of food.
- VintageBeef begins a makeover of Beefy Tunes.
