Hermitcraft Charity Event For Gamers Outreach 2025 was a charity and livestream event, which was organized by the Hermits in collaboration with Gamers Outreach, as a part of Gamers For Giving 2025. The event took place on April 12 and April 13 and it in main part happened at a real life location. However, this time it didn't take place at Gamers For Giving LAN party (which was the case the year earlier), but at Mojang Studios in Redmond, Washington, USA. Twelve Hermits appeared in person at the event: Cubfan135, FalseSymmetry, GeminiTay, GoodTimesWithScar, Grian, ImpulseSV, JoeHills, PearlescentMoon, Rendog, Skizzleman, TangoTek, and Zedaph. Just as the year before they were joined in person by InTheLittleWood and SolidarityGaming. OrionSound, SmallishBeans and ZombieCleo were able to participate remotely, using a device called Robo Hermit during the event, the same way GoodTimesWithScar was able to participate in 2024.
$100k was raised by 11:44am PT on the first day, less than 2 hours after the stream started.[1] The subsequent goal of $200k was hit, and it was raised to $300k at April 12 2:55pm PT. Around April 13 2am PT, the goal was once more increased to 500k, and the following day it was progressively increased by increments of $100k until it reached $800k.
Ultimately, the charity stream ended up raising USD$831,542.64 for Gamers Outreach.[2]
History[]
Background[]
Around 2022 or earlier, GoodTimesWithScar had begun collaborating with the Gamers Outreach organization. As the first outcome of this cooperation, he organized the Hermitcraft Charity Livestream on October 23, 2022. Its main goal was fundraising to supply hospitals in the world with GO Karts. The event took place on Hermitcraft Season 9 server, many Hermits helped with preparing it and participated in it. InTheLittleWood was also invited onto the server as the special guest and emcee of the event.
Later Hermits got an invitation from Gamers Outreach for the Gamers For Giving LAN party in 2024, located at Eastern Michigan University. Ten Hermits appeared at the event in person, along with InTheLittleWood and SolidarityGaming, and with GoodTimesWithScar participating remotely using RoboScar. Their appearance in person at the LAN party was kept secret until the start of the first livestream. Hermits got their own section of the arena, where they organized activities together for the livestreams, which took place on April 6 and April 7, 2024.
After the event it was revealed that the Hermits are interested in organizing another charity event with Gamers Outreach.[citation needed]
First Announcements[]
On March 6, 2025 the Hermitcraft official account on X (formerly Twitter) posted the first announcement of another Hermitcraft Charity Event for Gamers Outreach. They revealed the date: April 12 and April 13, 2025, and announced that Hermits again will appear in person, but this time the event won't be part of the Gamers For Giving LAN party.[3] The new location of the event was kept secret until the day of the event.
During the next weeks, Hermits started to mention the event in their episodes, livestreams and on social media, confirming their participation and revealing some information.
Soon after the first announcement SolidarityGaming, during his livestream, revealed that he was invited and he agreed to take part again in the event. Later he published a part of the livestream on his shorts channel[4] and made a post about it.[5] InTheLittleWood also confirmed his participation on a livestream, but forgot to make a post about it so he published it a few days later.[6]
On March 15, GoodTimesWithScar made his own post, announcing that this event will be bigger and better, and promised more announcements and surprises to come.[7] Ten days later he revealed the first items prepared for the auction: models of snails from Wild Life SMP, created by CcosplayTriple.
Grian's Project For Auction[]
One day Cubfan135 gave Grian an idea for an item for the auction during the charity event. Then Grian decided to complete this idea and he spent most of the day to do it, cooperating with many artists from the community.
He mentioned it on the livestream with GoodTimesWithScar, GeminiTay, ImpulseSV and Skizzleman, but he didn't reveal anything about the item. They also talked a little bit about the auction. ImpulseSV mentioned that he prepared a few things, but also didn't reveal it. GoodTimesWithScar suggested that the auction should be opened a few days before the event.
Grian mentioned his project again on Skizzleman's livestream, revealing that it was Cubfan135's idea. Skizzleman admitted that he didn't have any items prepared for the auction at the time. Grian also summarized the information that had been disclosed at that time, assured viewers that the event schedule would be published and mentioned that he got an idea to make a Live Hermitmaster, but he wasn't sure about it at the time.[citation needed]
Further News[]
On March 27, Zedaph posted an announcement of real life livestream events involving the ZITS team (Zedaph, ImpulseSV, TangoTek and Skizzleman). Two mentioned initiatives (The Quiet Game and Mystery Hermit) were to take place during the Hermitcraft Charity Livestream, making them the first confirmed attractions of the event.[note 1] He also announced two livestreams unrelated to the Charity Weekend but happening the same week: Zed & Tango's Quotes Quiz and ZITS Game Night.[8]
With the beginning of April came more announcements. First was the map of the hour, when the livestreams will start (same time each day) in different time zones.[9][10] However it had an error, as for New York (EST time zone) it was marked as 1 PM, while 1 PM would be in EDT time zone.[11]
Later was posted a Hermit Line Up. It was a list with 15 slots, in 14 of them were mentioned participants of the event. Most of them were known before, but a few of them, FalseSymmetry, JoeHills and Rendog, were confirmed for the first time. The last slot included only a information "PLUS MORE!".[12]
Grian also made a post about his participation, that he wouldn't host a livestream but was organizing some attractions, mentioning Guess The Build and a live version of HermitMaster (officially confirming that it would happen). He also revealed that GoodTimesWithScar would be the streaming "host" livestream of both days of the event.[13]

In the meantime, PearlescentMoon made two livestreams, during which she made a handmade drawing for the auction. The livestreams happened on April 6 and April 8. During the first one she made a line art and the second one was dedicated to coloring.[14][15]

On April 9 was launched an official link for the fundraising and auction for the charity event, both carried out via the Tiltify service, just as the year before.
