Hermit Lodge is Shawnvmartin's main base for Season 1. Located near the Spawn Village, it is found in a snowy taiga biome. To the north is Keralis' Jungle Base; to the east is Generikb's Jungle Base; to the distant southeast is Pungence's Assyrian Temple, Skyzm's Ice Incorporation, and Juicetra's Jungle Village; to the south is DMac's Desert; to the distant southwest is Biffa's Bowl; to the direct west is Monkeyfarm's Island; to the northwest is the Spawn Village.

Hermit Lodge[]
The main lodge made of spruce with a counter and a melon dispenser. It has two unfinished hallways built into the mountain, and a cobblestone path with an icy lake leading out the front of it.
Groundskeeper's Residence[]
A small spruce shack with a storage area, furnace array and nether portal in the basement, and a nether wart and wheat farm; home to Shawnvmartin, Alishapez, Lucy and Max the pigs, and His and Her Own the dogs.
History[]
In Season 1: Episode 1, Shawnvmartin flew from the spawn to a winter area (before realizing that Hermitcraft is a survival server), where he and Alishapez moved into Shawnvmartin's Winter Hideaway, a small spruce shack in the middle of the frigid taiga woods. Lucy the Pig moved into the hideaway, and the two went mining. In Season 1: Episode 2, Shawnvmartin got two dogs named His and Her Own. Biffa2001 briefly visited the wooded area. In Season 1: Episode 3, he worked on the storage area in the basement of the Winter Hideaway, renamed the Guest Cottage. He also showed the exterior build for The Hermit Lodge, and began digging the mountain for the hotel rooms. In Season 1: Episode 5, he added trees flanking the road leading to the Hermit Lodge, and renamed the Guest Cottage to the Groundskeepers Residence. He also got a new pig named Max. He continued to work on the storage area, and learned that IAmSp00n and Jessassin installed a melon dispenser in The Hermit Lodge. In Season 1: Episode 6, he worked on the storage area and added furnaces and an enderchest. In Season 1: Episode 7, Jessassin fixed the melon dispenser. In Season 1: Episode 8, he added a nether wart farm. He also hollowed out the back of the lodge and added two hallways. In Season 1: Episode 9, Max was a stubborn pig and roamed outside for too long. In Season 1: Episode 11, Shawnvmartin returned home after a while in the self-imposed exile he began in Episode 9.
Shawnvmartin was last seen in Hermit Lodge cursing Biffa2001 for holding his base for ransom.
