Giant Bonsai Cherry Blossom Tree is a building in Season 9 that serves as the headquarters of Buttercups after Buttercamp was destroyed. The tree was built by GoodTimesWithScar and Grian on top of the pot, in which the Bottercup was hidden.

Buttercups only had the opportunity to use the new base during covering of The Perimeter, because the group was disbanded immediately afterwards.

History

Pod for Bottercup

During the conflict with Docm77, the newly founded group of Buttercups built a Buttercamp on the edge of the Perimeter. Later it turned out that the camp is located on the road of Docm77's Goat Walker. It was decided to use this to create a confrontation between robots (actually specific type of flying machines). MumboJumbo constructed and armed with TNT the Bottercup in front of Goat Walker. Then Grian built a garage in the form of flower pot over the new robot, as Bottercup was in the shape of flowers. He hoped that later MumboJumbo would connect the lever opening the garage gate with the activation of the flying machine, but this didn't happen.

Some time after that, Docm77 met with Rendog to discuss their plans against Buttercups. They began the meeting on the top of a flower pot-garage, that had been turned into a hot tub, presumably by Rendog.

When the battle finally broke out, Grian and MumboJumbo had to coordinate the opening of the gate (made of sand, which can be easily removed by dropping it down) and launching the Bottercup, not to block the flying machine. It almost happened anyway, because one column of sand didn't fall, but Grian took it down just before the collision, so Bottercup left the garage without any problems. As a result of the confrontation, however, he was completely destroyed, as was Goat Walker, and the flowerpot-garage remains empty.

Building the tree

After the battle, Docm77 decided to make a decisive hit on the Buttercups and for this purpose he built an interactive billboard with a trap. Both GoodTimesWithScar and Grian fell into it, not knowing it would blow up their camp. Without headquarters, they brainstormed and decided to build a new one in form of a Giant Bonsai Cherry Blossom Tree. They prepared the building material (cherry blossom logs and leaves) together, but construction had to wait for GoodTimesWithScar to come back to the server. It took so long that Grian managed to build new farms in his base.

When his partner finally showed up, they went to the construction site, which was on top of the flowerpot-garage. When they were preparing to build, Grian threw a Secret Pane of Pain into GoodTimesWithScar's inventory and he didn't notice. The tree construction process was seamless, in one building session. They used GoodTimesWithScar's method of free-flowing, by placing a base made of dirt and then covering it with actual blocks. The whole tree was created with "zero communication" and one reference image. The only practical place in the building was the meeting room at the top.

Nothing happened between Docm77 and Buttercups over the next few weeks. However, at that time PearlescentMoon decided to strike in the form of building a huge enderdragon out of dragon eggs above the Bonsai Tree. It was a prank on Grian and Docm77 for making copies of the dragon eggs while she should own the only one.
