The Strait of Joebraltar on the map
The Strait of Joebraltar is the mouth of the Hermiatic Ocean in Season 7. It is where JoeHills lives and focuses most of his building projects, such as his Winery, the Tower of Hercules, and Joerassic Bark. GOAT Bay and Mount GOATmore are adjacent to the southeast corner of the Strait, along with Docm77 and BdoubleO100's starter base. After the events of HCBBS, xBCrafted got the deed for the Strait of Joebraltar after JoeHills got the deed for xBCrafted's base. They later switched deeds back, with JoeHills planning to build a model of the ship Ever Given stuck at the Strait of Joebraltar.

Joerassic Bark[]

The Strait of Joebraltar has a large sanctuary for dogs, used to fulfill JoeHills' role as the dogcatcher for the season.
Tower of Hercules[]
The Tower of Hercules is a 1:1 scale replica of a restored ancient Roman lighthouse in Galicia, Spain. The tower rests on a plaza on the peak of a cliff, terraformed by JoeHills and ZombieCleo.
Nether Portal[]
The nether portal for this base is a large @ sign, which JoeHills uses on his skin and in channel branding. The portal sits on an island in the straits and is decorated with black and orange colors for Halloween. This portal connects to JoeHills' Season 7 Nether Base.
Ravine[]
Most of the technical aspects of the build are found underneath the land in a large ravine, mined out by JoeHills. It sits in close proximity to three mob spawners, which have been converted to farms. There is also a small tree farm inside the ravine which was used to gather leaves for Bernie the Leaf Master.
Wizard of Wines Winery[]
The main attraction of JoeHills' base is the Wizard of Wines Winery, built to the specifications written in the Curse of Strahd module for Dungeons & Dragons. This winery is built from new nether blocks such as warped wart planks and is detailed with wine vats and areas for crushing grapes. Around the winery are fields of berry bushes meant to represent the grapes being grown for the winery.
Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat[]
Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, a replica of the cargo ship Ever Given.
During the second Hermits Helping Hermits event, JoeHills, ZombieCleo, Xisumavoid, and Rendog built Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, a 2:5 scale model of the cargo ship Ever Given, wedged sideways into the Strait of Joebraltar.
Holiday Area[]
Past Joerassic Bark is an area where JoeHills and ZombieCleo made celebratory builds for Halloween 2020 and Groundhog Day 2021, especially a corn maze, a large model of Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters, and the alarm clock from the movie Groundhog Day.
Trivia[]
- Its name is a portmanteau of the Strait of Gibraltar and JoeHills, the latter having named the bay.
- It is the location of the second Hermits Helping Hermits event.
