Boombox is a minigame created by TangoTek in Season 3. It was remade in Season 6.
Rules[]
Hermits are organized into 2 teams of 2, plus a referee. The objective is to capture the other team's three flags and get them to your own base. All three flags are in the same place, but you can only carry one at a time. The main weapon is TNT, which can be placed on the redstone block floor in water to prevent the arena from exploding. Gear can be found around the arena.
Season 3[]
TangoTek built the game in the gaming district. The first tournament was held with the participants being Sl1pg8r, Zueljin, EthosLab, FalseSymmetry, ImpulseSV, himself, MumboJumbo, and Xisumavoid.
Season 6[]
TangoTek rebuilt the game in Hermit Land. A bracket-style competition was hosted by TangoTek. MumboJumbo and Grian played against Cubfan135 and FalseSymmetry in the first round. After Grian used invisibility potions the majority of the game, he and MumboJumbo snatched the victory. Xisumavoid and Zedaph dueled ImpulseSV and Docm77 and came out as the winners. For the final round, MumboJumbo and Grian faced off against Zedaph and Cubfan135, who was standing in as Xisuma 2.0. The round was tense the entire time. At the end, Zedaph and Cubfan135 secretly traded off the last flag and claimed the victory.
