Emperor Grumbot,[1] was an alternate version of Grumbot, built by Grian and PearlescentMoon, embedded into the side of Hermitopia. He was supposedly powered by all of the farms in Hermitopia, but requires redstone to properly function. He briefly came to life and powered the rift to reconnect Empires and Hermitcraft. He was subsequently destroyed by a TNT missile in the battle between the Empires and Hermits.
Purpose[]
Emperor Grumbot was supposed to repower the Rift and let the Hermits return home. When he came online, however, his primary purpose still appeared to be getting MumboJumbo elected mayor. He did reignite the Rift, but he also decided the MumboJumbo-less world had to be purged.
History[]
Creation[]
After Hermits becoming trapped on the Empires server, Grian got the idea to create a Grumbot on the Empires server to reestablish a link between their worlds and relight the rift to return home, due to Grumbot Prime previously stating he can't see the other universe (Empires). It initially was only a face, but as Hermitopia was finished, Grian built arms for it, added the classic message dispenser and acceptor and activated Grumbot's redstone brain with the help of ImpulseSV.
Powered[]
Now functional, Grian talked to Grumbot for a bit, slowly realizing that Emperor Grumbot did not know how to function in a world without MumboJumbo or mayors. Ignoring the implications for the sake of getting home, Grian got Emperor Grumbot to open the Rift, and then assembled the Hermits. However, the Empires crew had build a fort around the rift, and a fight between the Hermits and Empires crew started.
Destruction[]
During the battle, Emperor Grumbot was destroyed by a TNT missile. Grian attempted to stop the attack but failed.
Questions[]
Just like the original Grumbot, Emperor Grumbot could talk to the hermits,
the order of operations was
1. name a piece of paper with an anvil
2. put it in the barrel
3. shoot one of the target blocks
Then another piece of paper dispenses from Grumbot's palm telling you his answer.
