The 2v2 Barge quest was a quest hosted by Grian from the Grian Emporium where two teams of two hermits competed to follow a complex trail with many challenges in the hope of eventually winning a prize at the end. One team was BdoubleO100 and GoodTimesWithScar with Rendog and ImpulseSV forming the other team.
Team 1's clue, (The two-faced shop, inside and out) lead them to Grian's Jrumbot. Team 2's clue, (The brightest shop from cheapest to most expensive) lead to ImpulseSV's Lamps Plus. Both teams had to gather coordinates in the shops, where they meet in The G-Mansion to help Grian mine out a pit. Each team had to mine a lot to gather enough materials to make a full chest that contains the materials they mined (64 of any item mined). Grian stated this clue was a troll, and that he really just added this just to work on his base.
Once a team's chest was full, Grian would give that team the next clue.Team 1 received a map that had an X leading to Keralis' airplane in his city. Inside the airplane, was a secret item frame that contained a book. Team 2 received a map that had an X leading them near Rendog's Valley of Tatooren, located under a lake was a secret chest. Team 1's book and Team 2's chest both had coordinates to the next area which was a puzzle. Both teams must press the correct wooden buttons to open a secret door which unlocked the next area.
The clue was for each team, "The 2 woods that make up the best shop in the shopping district", which was The Grian Emporium, so they had to place an item on the spruce pressure plate and dark oak pressure plate to open the next door. They must use a bow an arrow to shoot the spruce button that was in the secret door and shoot the dark oak button to open another secret door which opened the next area. There on the otherside was a bow and arrow mini-game where they must shoot crystals that when shot at, breaks a redstone torch leading up to the sand door. When all crystals are shot, the sand door opened and lead to a wooden room with a chest that had a custom-made disc made by Grian. They needed to craft a jukebox using their own materials to listen to the disk Grian had purposely made the disc very long so you had to listen to all of its contents.
In the end, the clue was they had to go to The Grian Emporium again to search the chest their first clue was to find the missing clue.The missing clue gave coordinates to a mini-game area where you must use the Riptide enchantment to get up the parkour space. Once a team has made it to the end, they were given a lodestone compass that leads to the final clue.The lodestone compass lead the 2 Teams to a snow village that had three Withers that just needed one more wither skull to be a full wither. When all of the teams turned up, Grian released the final Wither skulls and the Withers spawned. The first team to get a Nether Star and return to The Grian Emporium wins the grand prize. Rendog was the first to get a Nether Star, but unfortunately died whilst escaping, and GoodTimesWithScar stole the star and returned to The Grian Emporium, meaning Team 2 won.
BdoubleO100 and GoodTimesWithScar had won first place, and got their prize, and Rendog and ImpulseSV won second place and also got their prize. Later, Rendog and ImpulseSV made a deal with BdoubleO100 to trade a few shulker boxes and secretly stole the wooden G sign from the prize area.

Grian constructed a 2v2 Barge Quest that cost 250 diamonds per player. The first four players that signed up were BdoubleO100, GoodTimesWithScar, Rendog, and ImpulseSV. Since BdoubleO100 and GoodTimesWithScar were both in Hermitcraft Environmental Protection, and Rendog and ImpulseSV were both in the Mycelium Resistance, they all decided to form partners with their member of their turf war team.
