I think that S9 is going to have scripted bits like S8 did. Living rock? Magical rift? Who knows what will happen this season, I just hope it's longer than the last one.

Did anyone notice that in Ren's second episode, the GIGAPOD has runes on the back of it? According to the Standard Galactic Alphabet, it spells HCS which, along with the 9 next to it, presumably stands for HermitCraft Season 9

I found out about Grian/Hermitcraft a little bit after season 7 started. After S7 finished, me bored out of my mind decided to start watching S6. Now we're on S8 :)
@Jade Moonstroller They're living on the small island for a reason, so when Xisuma updates the server to 1.18 they can then move out into the world for the new mountain/cave generations.

I think all the hermits are great, but personally I could binge watch Grian like nothing else. (No offense to other hermit fans)
It very much looks like bird poop. I suppose you could polish the pesky bird droppings into marble for kitchens and such but calcite is much better.
