Note regarding new fandom desktop ui.

I will give it some time to settle in terms of features and then we will make sure that our content is compatible with the new ux. Therefore, some features may or may not be broken in the new UI

Staff Promotions

I just promoted some of our contributors staff! As their contributions over the past few months have been great.

Carmoc1810 - promoted to admin

SpellingQueen - promoted to thread moderator

Jade Moonstroller promoted to content moderator

How can one be promoted?

The staff team regularly checks and observes edits done on the wiki. We promote people who are frequent and good contributors. One cannot apply to be admin

Honestly, we forgot to do a featured contrubutor for May 2021 - the staff are now voting on this matter and the result will be posted in a few days here!

Wiki Update - its happening right now

This wiki, which is hosted on fandom.com's services and servers, is currently undergoing updates to the backend, the editor and code which keeps it together.

This may mean that during the next few days, some things on the wiki may stop working or malfunction.

If you see something broken, do not try to temporarily fix it yourself, but write about the issue here so we can address the core of the issue.

Collaborate to help channels grow and create an interesting narrative. I think Xisuma once said they meet weekly or monthly to discuss where the server and season is going.

They even contribute some money to cover the server expenses once a year, and those who are in difficulty pay a smaller amount.

There is no revolution and there is no ending to this.

@Electos will still be a bureaucrat and will still have admin privileges unless he asks to be demoted. And he, like everyone is else, is still welcome to edit the wiki whenever he pleases.

I will try to implement the rules from your suggestions.

No one has time to great everyone personally. Maybe personalize the automatic welcome but not make it manual.

Remember that everyone here is a volunteer, I am not getting paid. So the moment this gets boring and repetitive, I'll stop editing.

I also went through the same experience of learning how to edit hands on. 4 years ago I would spam the admins with questions on how to do simple things. The Warning Templates are there so we can easily correct you on the things which you are doing.
